Make it Seven Straight!

The Allen wrestlers capped their record breaking season off with a state title for the seventh straight year by scoring 230.5 team points, the second most team points in UIL State History behind Allen’s own record of 251.5 points. The Eagles had twelve state placers including five state champions.


Sophomore Alex Liles finished her undefeated season with her second state title in the 128-pound championship. On the boys side two others won their second straight state title. Senior Dalton Miller won the 182-pound bracket and Sophomore Braeden Redlin won by fall in his championship match at 152-pounds to capture his second title. Juniors Evan Hackett (170) and Mark Inglehart (182)also captured state titles in their respective weight classes.


The Eagles won the team title in convincing fashion by more than 100 points ahead of the second place team, Arlington Martin. Below are the top five team scores and individual results:
