After losing 11 of 15 starters to graduation, one would normally expect a down year for any team. However, the Eagles reloaded
and finished the season strong with a District 5A-17 CHAMPIONSHIP qualifying 12 for Regionals, a Regional RUNNER-UP finish
qualifying 4 for State, and a 4 for 4 placing of State participants.
Senior Talbot Rasmussen, 3rd at 125#, junior Eden Bernstein 4th at 145#, sophomore Roderick Gaines 3rd at 112#, and junior
Kiara Swain 3rd at 215#, brought home medals and All-State honors.
With 13 of 15 starters returning, a talented JV, and several tough middle school wrestlers moving up, the Eagles should
be 'lookin' fine in '09'.
